Discussion Programs
Discussion programs are an informal educational space consisting of a series of discussion sessions aimed at involving young people in the process of participating in decision-making, contributing to the development of critical skills, increasing the potential to resist negative stereotypes, prejudices, conflictogenicity, xenophobia. Discussion programs are one of the original formats for discussing problematic issues in a given thematic field.
The creation and development of discussion programs as part of the Project will contribute to:
Discussion rules.
Discussion is an equal conversation between a speaker/expert and a listener about various situations, meanings, assumptions, and problems that have no single answer. It arises when people are faced with a question for which there is no definitive answer.
During a discussion, people formulate a new, more satisfactory answer to the question that satisfies all sides. The result can be a mutual agreement, better understanding, a new perspective on the problem, or a joint decision.
The importance of regularly using discussion is undisputed nowadays. To firmly grasp knowledge and understanding of their practical application, it is necessary not only to read and memorize the material but also to discuss it with another person.
